Our comprehensive APD evaluations are designed to identify exactly which areas of auditory processing are challenging your child (or you!) — and to build a clear, actionable plan.
We evaluate children as young as 3.5 years old through adults up to age 60, because auditory processing challenges don't have an expiration date.
Before Testing
APD testing requires a full hearing evaluation completed within the past six months to rule out peripheral hearing loss. Don't have one yet? We can help with that too.
What to Expect During the Evaluation
We start with a detailed conversation — about your child's specific listening challenges, school performance, communication concerns, and daily situations where hearing gets hard. This guides which tests we select from our battery, including:

All testing is completed in a sound-treated booth using calibrated equipment. Results include a detailed phonemic analysis and a clear, practical report with accommodation and treatment recommendations.
