When it comes to advocating for your child, understanding both the educational system and your child's unique needs makes all the difference.
As a former classroom teacher, school counselor, audiologist, and licensed mental health counselor, I bring a perspective that bridges the gap between schools and families. I know what happens behind the scenes of IEPs and 504 Plans because I've been part of those conversations from both sides of the table.
But my connection to this work is also deeply personal.
I have single-sided hearing loss myself. I understand firsthand that classrooms aren't always designed with hearing differences and learning needs in mind. That lived experience shapes the way I support families—with empathy, practical guidance, and a commitment to making sure every child has the opportunity to succeed.
I'm not walking into your child's meeting as an outsider reading from a legal pad. I've helped write accommodations, served on eligibility committees, and worked alongside educators and families to develop meaningful support plans. My goal is to help ensure your child's needs are understood, supported, and never lost in the paperwork.

Deaf & Hard-of-Hearing and Auditory Advocacy
I understand how hearing loss and auditory processing challenges affect classroom learning and communication. Together, we'll identify the accommodations and supports your child may need, including FM systems, preferential seating, captioning, extended processing time, and other auditory-specific recommendations.

Discovery Call
We begin with a complimentary 15-minute phone call to discuss your concerns, answer questions, and determine whether educational advocacy is the right fit for your family.
Review & Preparation
If we move forward, I'll carefully review your child's evaluations, IEP or 504 Plan, progress reports, and any supporting documentation. We'll then meet to prepare for upcoming conversations with the school and develop a clear advocacy strategy.
Advocacy & Support
Whether you need guidance before a meeting or would like me to attend alongside you, I'll provide informed, compassionate support so you can confidently advocate for your child's educational needs.

Meeting Preparation Session (1 hour)
Develop a personalized game plan, organize talking points, and prepare for your upcoming meeting.

IEP/504 Meeting Attendance
Advocacy and support during your meeting (virtual or in person), including note-taking and guidance for up to two hours.
